Hi! My name’s Kristy, but I go by my alias missladyhaha for my art profession, and I’m an emerging artist from North Carolina. I specialize in ink illustration, digital art, cartography, and watercolor.

I began drawing as a kid, during my elementary school years, and my favorite subject in school was in fact, “art.” I mainly did pencil sketching and had a huge folder full of art sketches, until the beginning of high school when I decided to get into watercolor. After taking plenty of art classes at Mars Hill University, I grew to not only love art more but to appreciate the little things I must learn in order to grow and improve as an artist. After graduating, I began experimenting with cartography and ink illustrations. I was inspired by antique maps and maps from critically acclaimed fantasy films/series. My cartographs are from my own original fantasy lore. Currently, I am improving on my digital skills and hoping to create wonderous arts for the world to see. Right now, ink illustration has become something I’ve been deeply enjoying more and more, and will want to perfect my skills on that medium.

My goals continuing on is to try new things and push myself to experiment other forms of art, creating something that feels authentically me.
